Jizo-do painted with colorful autumn leaves

The jizo-do (a roofed shelter that houses “jizo” statues) in the remains of Jizo-jaya Teahouse, which is located at the halfway point along the Ogumotori-goe Section of the Nakahechi route, comes alight with a rainbow of colorful leaves during the autumn season. As you take a break in the rest area of the remains of the teahouse, you can refresh yourself amid the cozy autumn atmosphere.
