The Kumano Kodo Ohechi Route between Koza in Kushimoto Town and Nachikatsuura Town is diverted to the Hachiro-toge Pass Route, which runs through a mountain area and to the Shimizu-toge Pass Route, which is a coastal route. In the section between Ikenoyama in Kozagawa Town and Sabe in Kushimoto Town along the Hachiro-toge Pass Route, there is a beautiful mountain stream that reflects greenery on its surface.
