Koya-zaka Slope and Lycoris radiata (Red Spider Lily)(Koya-zaka-to Higanbana)

高野坂とヒガンバナ

Adding extra color to the autumn landscape along the ancient trail

Near the Miwasakiside entrance to Koya-zaka Slope, you can see a small creek flowing, and in fall, the flowers of Lycoris radiata (red spider lily) bloom beautifully in that area. You cannot find many places (like this) on the Nakahechi route that are surrounded by red spider lilies, since the route mostly runs through mountainous regions.
