Mt. Nachisan Surrounded by Flowering Cherry Trees（Sakura-saku Nachisan）
Cherry trees are in full bloom, beautifully decorating Nachi Waterfall.

At Kumano Nachi Taisha Grand Shrine, on April 14 every year, the Cherry Blossom Festival (Oka Matsuri) is held. This festival originates from an anecdote of Retired Emperor Kazan (968–1008), who is said to have written a poem praising the beauty of the cherry blossoms in this area.
