Oyunohara in the Morning Mist

Fushiogami-oji was the place where the pilgrims to Kumano first sighted Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine in the distance, knelt and worshipped. In winter mornings, this area is often misty. For about 30 minutes after the sun rises, you can enjoy the view of Oyunohara, the location of the original Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine, in the mist.
