ワレモコウ

Impressive oval shaped flowers

On the trail between JR Kushimoto Station and JR Koza Station, an ancient path along the Kujino-kawa River flowing on the north side of Kushimoto Town’s urban areas is blessed with a rich natural environment; along the path, you can enjoy fall plants and flowers such as Sanguisorba officinalis (great burnet), Adenophora triphylla (Japanese lady bell), and Farfugium japonicum (leopard plant). There are also “Tsuji Jizo” statues (guardians of travelers and the weak) located along the way.
