Brooms on Koyasan
“Koyaboki” means ” Koyasan broom.” This plant is named “Koyaboki” since its thin, hard stems used to be bundled up and made into brooms on Koyasan. When its white flowers wither up, fluffy, thin pappi that resemble dried flowers remain.
