Cherry Blossoms at Sodo-ji Temple(Sodo-ji-no Sakura)

草堂寺の桜

Spring comes into full bloom at "Rosetsu Temple"

Sodo-ji Temple, which is a starting location for the Tonda-zaka Slope walk, is also called “Rosetsu Temple” because the temple possesses some precious screen paintings of Rosetsu Nagasawa (1754–1799), a well-known Edo Era Japanese painter. In spring, you can see cherry blossoms brighten up the main gate of the temple, and the view of cherry trees lining the Takase-gawa River, which flows near the temple, is also fantastic.
