The Best View Point along the Pilgrimage Route

Hyakken-gura is the best viewpoint on the way of Kogumotori-goe Section, one of the hardest points of Kumano Kodo Route. It is said that all 3,600 mountains can been seen from here, and the view  of the setting sun is especially beautiful. A small Jizo statue protects pilgrims.
