Emerging suddenly from the seashore
On the beach in Tako, Kushimoto Town, there are beds on which rocks of all sizes appear to be scattered on the flat seashore. Since these rocks look like they are emerging from the ground, an expert of geology named them “Sarashikubi (gibbeted heads) beds.” The rocks are directly connected to the bedrock below, rather than being scattered. As the tide rises, mysterious scenery appears.
