Orange stink bugs pass the winter.

In the nature-rich Ugui Peninsula in Nachi-Katsuura Town, you can see Eucorysses grandis (a stink bug of the family Scutelleridae), which is known as a southern hemisphere species, overwintering on the reverse side of a leaf. This stink bug species is quite large in size, measuring 2 to 2.5 cm in total length. It has an orange body with black spots.
