Kozan-ji Temple is a famous castle that is believed to have been established by Kobo-Daishi (Kukai). In the graveyard of the temple are the graves of Ueshiba Morihei (founder of the Japanese martial art aikido) and Minakata Kumagusu (a world-famous natural historian). The combination of the Tahoto Tower and cherry blossoms is truly beautiful; the place is worth dropping by while walking along the Kumano Kodo.
